Recent Times

Sh Ch Flinthill Wild Thyme JW, Cleo's daughter sired by Crookrise Rory, became a show champion aged just two years in 2008 and was a top winner in the show ring.  She achieved her JW and was best puppy in breed at Crufts. But more importantly, Thyme had two very special litters.

The first, sired by Crookrise Floyd, gave us Flinthill Daisy Chain and Flinthill Monty Don as well as Barbara Wilkinson's Tia who went on to become Sh Ch Flinthill Forget Me Not JW.

Thyme's second litter, sired by Wherathy Walter, included Flinthill Golden Thyme (2 RCC), Flinthill Chocolate Thyme (1 CC, 1 RCC) and Flinthill Lilac Thyme who is the mother of Flinthill Sunshine Suzy.

Suzy has had two litters, both of ten happy, healthy puppies. Her first was sired by Flinthill Monty Don and her second, born in July 2018, was sired by Sharnphilly Secretariat. Suzy has had a successful time in the show ring, winning her stud book number.

Flinthill Chocolate Thyme (Mr Woof) has been a popular stud dog at home and overseas. One of his litters in 2016 was with Braithwaite Ever Thus at Flinthill, bred by David Brigden. She had twelve beautiful pups and one of them, Flinthill Fidelity has been lightly shown and won a RCC in June 2018.

We have been concentrating on our pointers in recent years but were delighted to welcome the Irish setter Danaway Tilly at Flinthill to live here in April, 2018. Tilly has had a great start in the show ring, before taking time out for puppies during 2021.
