Today

Today, we have pointers and an Irish setter at Flinthill.

Domino (Ragus Lets Get Moving at Flinthill) was bred by Matthew Oddie and born on June 22, 2018. His sire is David Brigden's Braithwaite Go Man Go, who was sired by Flinthill Chocolate Thyme. His mother is Calderside Truly Unruly at Riowood. Domino now lives with friends in Morpeth but is part of the Flinthill show team.

Angus (Flinthill Sunny Spell) one of Suzy’s puppies sired by Sharnphilly Secretariat, is owned jointly with Michelle Wilkinson and lives with her in Barnsley. He and Domino were both at Crufts 2020.

Maia (Caithpoint Maia at Flinthill) came to live at Flinthill in December 2019. She was bred by Faith Earl and Mrs C Wheldon, her sire is Ponsonby Blowin in the Wind at Caithpoint and her mother is Sh Ch Caithpoint Here and Now. She goes back to the Toberdoney and Crookrise lines that are behind all my Flinthill-bred dogs. Maia has missed all her puppy and junior classes due to the COVID lockdown but has won well in yearling classes. She will be at Crufts 2022.

Tilly (Danaway Tilly at Flinthill) is my very special Irish setter. She was bred by Mary Gurney and born on February 20, 2018. Her sire is Gordon Rowbottom's Sh Ch Lanstara Spring Moon and her mother is Danaway Sweetie Pie. Tilly was successful in the show ring, winning a number of championship show classes as a puppy and junior. After lockdown, she was mated with Tania Gardner's Quensha Walk Me Home to Danwish and their puppy, Flinthill Ruby Rebel, is now living with friends in Weardale and will be in the show ring during 2022.

Tilly has also recently been accepted as a Wag and Co North East Friendship dog, visiting elderly people in their homes.

Suzy (Flinthill Sunshine Suzy) is eight now and is a lady of leisure, keeping the youngsters in order and with a special place on the sofa every night.
